CHK is pleased to announce that we will once again be offering public presentations of our full-day seminar on Conducting An Effective Internal Investigation. This is the only time in 2010 that we will be making these programs available for general registration. Our Investigations seminar is designed to provide comprehensive training to human resources professionals, risk managers, and security professionals engaged in internal investigations of personnel issues. Our full-day program is centered around a seven-part sexual harassment case study. Participants learn the theory behind all necessary investigative skills, including effective questioning techniques, proper use of demeanor as a tool to assist with the assessment of credibility, and the gathering of corroborating and circumstantial evidence, and then apply these skills through interactive exercises to the true-to-life case study. We also teach them to prepare effective documentation at each stage in the investigation process and include many sample documents that you can use the very next day.
The cost to attend the program will be $495, which includes the course materials and continental breakfast. The program will run from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 8:00am.
Group Discount: For every 3 full-price paid registrations, your organization will receive 1 free registration, e.g., register 8 attendees and only pay for 6!
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing, either by fax or email, 7 days before the seminar in order to receive a refund. No refunds will be given after that time. Attendee substitutions may be made at any time.
Curiale Hirschfeld Kraemer LLP is an approved MCLE provider. California State Bar attorneys will earn 6.0 hours of MCLE credits for this seminar.
